About the Nurse Practitioner

Mary Jane Oates, ARNP has been a Registered Nurse (RN) since 1972. She received her Masters of Science degree as a Nurse Practitioner in 1997. Mrs. Oates has specialized exclusively in Dermatology since 2002. At The Skin Cancer Center, Mrs. Oates is qualified to examine patients, perform necessary biopsies, perform ED&C's and offer treatment options. If either a Mohs or Excision surgery is required, the appropriate procedure will be performed by Dr. Barber.
